WHO WE ARE

We are Bühne für Menschenrechte e.V. We want to bring to light the voices, perspectives and stories of people whose human rights have been violated and who are fighting for a fairer world and solidarity. We conduct interviews with those affected, witnesses, survivors and activists and turn them into documentary theater productions with which we tour throughout Germany and internationally. Our aim is to present our plays in as many different places and contexts as possible and to make it possible for small organizations to host our readings.

In order to be able to perform our plays everywhere, we work with a network of artists throughout the German-speaking area. We also work with local activist networks for the performances.
